Chris Bumstead’s 10,000 Calorie Cheat Day After 2017 Olympia

MHP athlete Chris Bumstead worked hard for months in preparation for the Mr. Olympia 2017 contest.

All of that hard work paid off when he placed 2nd in the Men’s Classic Physique division.

And to reward himself, Chris enjoyed a 10,000 calorie cheat day 4 days later.

In this video we follow Chris as he indulges in some of his favorite foods.

1. IHOP

The first stop on Chris’ cheat day adventure is at IHOP. And he starts off with a Colorado omelet, cupcake pancakes, and a bacon and maple donut.

Chris doesn’t regularly eat like this after a show. Doing so adds on weight too quickly. So, he tries to restrict himself to just one day of cheating. Then, once he gets home he’ll get back on his diet to try to lose any excess water weight before gradually adding calories back in to his regular diet.

3. Whole Foods

For Chris’ third meal, he tries to go a little cleaner to get some micronutrients in for the day. That mindset leads him outside of Whole Foods.

For meal 3, Chris hits up the burrito bar where he gets Spanish rice, ½ steak ½ chicken, beans, fajita veggies, salsa, cheese and sour cream.

After he’s finished his bowl, Chris heads back in the store for some dessert. Chris snags 2 pints of halo top ice cream and a cheesecake brownie.
